He was predeceased by: his parents, Calixto Ereno (Visitacion Ergina) and Visitacion Ereno; his sister Mary Rose Shatzel; and his close friend Sancho Zabala. He is survived by: his wife Maribel Ereno; his daughter Gabrielle Banatao; his son-in-law Rey Banatao; his grandchildren, Ben and Chloe; and his sisters, Evangeline (Donald), Jennifer, Josephine (Dean), Grace, Carole (Joseph), Edith (Michael) and Lisa (Bruce).
