He is survived by: his children, William Lafayette Cotton, Jr. and Sheila Cotton; his grandchildren, Qiana Robinson, Shaneen Robinson, Maxwell McKinley Cotton and Jaxson Paul Cotton; and his close friend Edna Collier (Miller). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
