She is survived by: her daughter Quandra Philyra Chaffers; her sister Beverley Phillips; and her aunts and uncles, Kahn, Colin, Winston, O'Neal, Joseph Phillips, Emanuela Spurlock, Artelia Smith and Magna Ray. She is also survived by cousins, cherished in-laws, former students, and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Duggan's Funeral Service (3434 17th St, San Francisco, CA 94110). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Third Baptist Church (1399 McAllister St, San Francisco, CA 94114).
