Barbara Louise Bodman Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Louise Bodman in San Jose, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 9, 2026 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles T. Warner and Margaret'June'Fundis; her significant other Alan Edward Bodman, Sr.; and her sister Carolyn June Hudson. She is survived by: her son Alan E. Bodman, Jr.; her daughter-in-law Esther Bodman of Indian Trail, NC; her brother-in-law Rick Hudson of Auburn, GA; her niece Paula Castongia; and her nephew Logan Torrence of Albany, GA.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Central Church.
