He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kyu Sung and Tae Hee Chai; his wife Jane Chai; his daughter Julianne Chai; his son-in-law Dan Coyle; his family, Sujin Chai and Jason Hendren; his daughter Sukyong Chai; his grandchildren, Jameson Goins and Emerson Goins; and also, Averie Lopez, Austen Lopez, Vienna, Andrew and Savannah.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (4435 Fortran Dr, San Jose, CA 95134). A burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Los Gatos Memorial Park (2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA 95124).
