He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Professor Sankar Sebak Baral and Durga Baral of Chandanagar; his wife Bertha Higa of San Jose; and his sisters, Dr. Bani Baral, Rani Sinha, Dipali Sil and Jonaki Panja. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
