She was predeceased by: her husband Francisco Vaz Dinis; her parents, João Miranda and Emilia Miranda; and her siblings, João Miranda, Fátima Monteiro and Alice Sarmento.
She is survived by: her children, Henrique (Fátima Dinis), Nivia (Carlos Monteiro), João (Oswalda Dinis), Elsa (Marty McVeigh), Fernando (Catarina Dinis), José (Lucy Dinis) and Filomena (Angel Tirado); her sister Nair Fernandes Salvador; and her grandchildren, Susana, Lisa, Adrian, Marc, Tenisha, Shawn, Natasha, Cristina, Shannon, Darin, Nicole, Leslie, Brandon, Nicholas and Chelsea.
