He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Salas and Sharlette Salas; and his grandparents, Arturo, Agnes Narvaiz, John and Esther Salas.
He is survived by: his children, Salina Salas, Alyssa St. Pierre, Matthew Salas, Robert Salas, Lauren Valenzuela, Krysten Salas and Jacob Salas; his grandsons, Matthew Salas Jr., Nicholas St (Nico) and Vincent St (Vinny); and his wife Christine Salas. He is also survived by his loving wife, children, grandchildren, extended family—including his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins—and the many friends.
