He was predeceased by: his siblings, George Day, Marion Day, Rosalene Julian, Ruth Lily and Virginia Quesenberry.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia Roberts Day; his children, Bill (Maggie), Kevin Day and Melanie Day Black (Jeff); his grandchildren, Mathew Day, Adam Day (Anna), Amanda Day, Reagan Black and Patrick Black; his great grandchildren, Luke, Caleb and Kara Day; and his siblings, Genevie Lane, Elaine Day and Robert Day (Shirley). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
