Though Jewel may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. Lawrence and Ollie O. Cary; and her husband William "Melvin" Henson. She is survived by: her sisters, Ruby and Golda Pearl (Buggy); and her children, Robert (Robin) of Cedar Flats, OR, Kathleen Casey of Madera, CA and Julie Johnson (David) of Manteca, CA.. She is also survived by friends, was devoted to her 17 grandchildren and blessed with 16 great-grandchildren.
