It is with sadness that the passing of John Robert Stanley (San Jose, California) is shared. John Robert, born on April 21, 1937 in San Francisco, California, passed away on August 21, 2026. John Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Stanley (Halibrand) and Ruth Murray Stanley. He is survived by: his sister Jean Carol Mozes; his wife Carol "Caroline" Campagna Stanley; his daughter Kelly Stanley Huddleston; his son-in-law Jeffrey Huddleston; his granddaughter Avalon Fair Huddleston; his brother Jerry; and his sister-in-law Lucy Stanley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his grand dog.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Lima-Campagna-Alameda Mission Chapel (600 S Second St, San Jose, CA 95112).
In lieu of flowers donations are being accepted to create the Jack Stanley Memorial Car Show.
