We announce the death of John Thomas Rainwater of San Jose, California, born in Campbellsville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 57. John Thomas will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his sister Jill Rainwater; his mother Sherri Rainwater; his grandparents, Frances Campbell, John D. Rainwater, Ernest Price and Doris Beams; and his nephew John Michael Milby.

He is survived by: his wife Rhonda; his father John Thomas Rainwater, Sr.; his sister Julie Kerns (Mike); his nieces and nephews, Krissy Farmer (Kyle), Holly Burris (Dustin Bond), Shara Dobson (Mike), Alex Gilbert, Dillan Kerns (Faith), Kara Johnson (Garren Hendricks) and Amber Chavez (Martin); his mother-in-law Avonne Johnson; his brother-in-law Brad Johnson (Kelly); and his close friends, Bryan Ward, Joey Cox and Erik Bard.
