Lino Augusto Medeiros Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 29, 2025, at the age of 88, Lino Augusto Medeiros (San Jose, California) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Medeiros and Rosa Medeiros; his wife Maria Luiza Medeiros; his siblings, Deolinda Bettencourt, Maximino Medeiros, Ilda Silva, Armindo Medeiros, Maria Pimentel and Victoria Laranjo; and his stepson Trajano Cabral (Agueda).
He is survived by: his children, Amarantina Medeiros (Tony Medeiros), Lina Medeiros Vieira (Manuel Vieira) and Lino Freitas; his sister Benilde (Ponte); and his stepchildren, Aira Cabral, Fatima Cabral, Franquelim Cabral (Fatima), Lucia Medeiros, Olga Leitch (Neal) and Leonel Cabral (Jackie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A rosary will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Five Wounds Portuguese National Parish (1375 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95116). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2650 Madden Ave, San Jose, CA 95116).
