Merle Gordon Vague Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2025, at the age of 92, Merle Gordon Vague of San Jose, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Sukkert and Harold C. Vague of Racine Wisconsin; his wife Ruth; his brothers, Harold Junior Vague and Kenneth Vague; and his nephew Billy Vague.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Vague (Carol) of San Jose and Karen Rockwell of La Grange; his grandchildren, Leanna Dudley (John Bergman), Adam Wright (Adela), Erin Gomes (Andy), Brook Shadwell (Micah) and Daniel Rockwell (Helga); his great grandchildren, Jessa, Ian, Jacob, Lily, Johnathan, Dasha, Baylee and Brighton; his close friend Patty Miller; and his nieces, Cheryl Vague and Jackie Nelson (Karl). He is also survived by many friends, close neighbors, past co-workers.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Los Gatos Memorial Park (2255 Los Gatos Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA 95124).
