We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2023, at the age of 89, Refugio Rodriguez Avila of San Jose, California, born in Ventura, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Avila and Aurelia Avila; his brothers, Roberto, Rafael and Raul; and his daughter Gloria (Ashar).

He is survived by: his brother David; his wife Consuelo; and his children, Eduardo, Alberto (Rita), Silvia (Enrique), Ruben, Beatriz and Consuelo (Ormond). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, also many nephews and nieces.
