He is survived by: his wife Nel; his children, Terrilynn, Ruben Jose and Nerizza; his granddaughters, Zara and Sofia; and his son-in-law Jon. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, cousins, nephews, nieces and great nieces.
He suffered cardiac arrest after bravely battling Parkinson's disease.
