He is survived by: his significant other Rita Frances Vogl; his children, Kathleen Edwards (Kate), Jennifer MacDonald (Dan), Philip (Barbara), Ted (Caroline) and Andrew (Christine); his grandchildren, Joshua (Rachel), Sarah, Timothy, Zachary, Gregory (Cassi), Joaquin, Aidan, Noah and Nina; and his great grandchildren, Paislee, Evangeline, Magnolia, Pierson, Stetson and Harper.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Rich's honor to St. Pius Parish.
