He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Yoshio Masui and Sanayo Masui; and his siblings, Kazue Masui, Marianne Ogawa, Grayce Tokunaga, Yoshiyuki Masui and Donald Masui. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
