She is survived by: her children, Cidalia Cunha (Joe), Ana Christina Mendoza (Victor), Maria Salgado (Mark) and Jose Salgado (Socorro); her grandchildren, Emmanuel, Stephanie, Sandra (Diogo), Christian, Adam, Brian (Cheyenne), Briana and Giovanni; her great grandchildren, Nevaeh, Aiden, Athena and Marcus; and her siblings, Margarida Silveira, Lourdes Gomes (João), Gabriel Jorge (Filomena) and Duarte Jorge (Angela).

Viewing was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Darling & Fischer Garden Chapel (471 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95112). A vigil service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Five Wounds Portuguese National Church (1375 E Santa Clara St, San Jose, CA 95116). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery (2650 Madden Ave, San Jose, CA 95116).
