He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Rose (Vince Cortese) and Sicilian; his wife Colleen; his daughter Teresa; his grandchildren, Makaela, Joe and Gino; and his great grandchildren, Vincenzo, Kaelahni and Julian.
Whether it was donating to the church or supporting various charities, he never hesitated to lend a hand when it was needed "I always tried to help people".
