He was predeceased by: his parents, Pham Ngoc Nhuong and Tran Thi Tram; his wife Bich Van Thi Pham; his daughter Van Anh Pham; and his siblings, Nham Thi, Nhan, Nhuong, Hien, Hong, Khoa and Soi.

He is survived by: his sons, Linh, Luan, Dzung, Tuong, Phuc and Khanh. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
