He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Adeline Halla and Albert Halla; his wife Valerie; his brothers, Allan Halla and Paul Halla; his nieces and nephews, Matthew Halla, Morgan Halla and Caitlin Halla; his son-in-law Sam Thirlwall; and his grandchildren, Everett and Amelia Thirlwall. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
