She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Schmitt and Madeline Schmitt (Matheis); and her siblings, Marylene Cordel (Leo), Lois Gengler (Robert), Claire Jean Kohn (Alex), Ralph Schmitt (Laurine) and Harry Schmitt.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Bannister of San Lorenzo; her children, Mike Bannister (Naomi) of San Ramon and Jodi Lewis (Vince) of Idaho; her grandchildren, Renae Lewis (Josh), Jessica Davila (Gary) and Jared Bannister (Ysabelle); her great grandchildren, Greyson, Griffyn and Kaison; her brother Richard Schmitt (Carolyn) of Cawker City, KS; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Schmitt of Tipton, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
