Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phillip Caspersen (San Lorenzo, California), born in Boelus, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 88, on April 26, 2026. He was predeceased by: his parents, Niels Caspersen and Frieda Caspersen; and his brothers, Paul, Darrel, Larry and Danny.

He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Gina), Michael (Pamela), Thomas and Kyla; his wife Carmen Evelyn Carmichael; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Kevin), Douglas (Chelsi) and Maximus; and his brother David Caspersen. He is also survived by his three sons and daughters-in-law.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Phillip's memory to Lutheran World Relief.
