With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Michael Roark (San Luis Obispo, California), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 27, 2025 at the age of 82. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugo Roark and Rosalie Roark. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Gigi" Roark; his children, Lisa De Prudhoe, Jon De Prudhoe of England and Elizabeth Roark of Del Mar, CA; his stepsons, Jeffrey Wilson (Terri) of Charlotte, NC and Gregory Wilson of Gainesville, GA; and his grandchildren, Miranda Wilson, Dylan Thompson and Smith Wilson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Morro Bay Presbyterian Church (485 Piney Way, Morro Bay, CA 93442). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025.
