He was predeceased by: his parents, James O'Donnell and Grace O'Donnell; his brother Dick; his nephew Dickie; his great-niece Janet; and his grandson Keenan O'Donnell.
He is survived by: his friend Patricia Ann Dwyer (Pat); his grandchildren, Parcheesi and Chess; his wife Pat; his sons, Kevin, Paul, David and James; his daughters-in-law, Jean, Maria, Darci and Laura; his grandchildren, Ryan, Connor, Michael, Miranda O'Donnell, Erik, Kurt and Leif Wildforster; and his great grandchildren, Ella, Ava Wildforster, Calvin and Arthur Clark.
As a youth he earned an unusually large amount of money by parking cars at Suffolk Downs Racetrack, which his mother deposited in his college fund.
