He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Huerta and Luz Cortez Huerta; and his siblings, Terry Lugo, Salvador Huerta, Alice Sendejas, Alfred Huerta, Adolf Huerta, Josefina Huerta (Joey) and Mary Alegria.
He is survived by: his significant other Catalina (Kati); his children, Roberto, Eva, Rosa and Jackie; his grandchildren, Ivette, Robert Carlos (RC), Richard (Ricky), Ryan, Alex Huerta, Vincent, Kimberly Simi, Brianna and Brendan Daly; and his great grandchildren, Antonio, Andres Roca, Jhaydine, Chelsey, Gabriella, Richard Jr. Huerta (Ricky), Sean, Eamon Saltamachia, Raegan Simi and Pedro.
