She was predeceased by: her parents, Modesto Turner and Josefa Turner; her siblings, Virginia Ortiz and Lucio Turner Sr.; and her granddaughter Jasmin Sarah Mercado.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Jane Beltran, Oscar Mercado, Ida Allen, Javier Mercado, Yolanda Santos and Juan Mercado Jr.; and her siblings, Elvira Vasquez and Arturo Turner.
