He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Rodriguez and Juan Ruiz; and his sisters, Cirilla and Lupe. He is survived by: his wife Rosalia Herrera Ruiz; his siblings, Evaristo, Jose Manuel, Concepcion and Salvador; his children, Juan Carlos (Sofia), Veronica (Cecil Molina), Luis Pavon, Marivel (Jeremy Hopper), Evaristo (Veronica) and Alberto (Arcelia); his grandchildren, Vanessa, Vivian, Jacob, Ariel of Carlos, Aden, Alyssa, Deina, Joshua, Alejandro, Rio, Carolina and Jonathon "JJ"; and his great grandchild Xiomara. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
