He is survived by: his son John Avila, Jr. (Ciciley) of Fresno, California; his stepchildren, Michelle Ramirez of Houston, Texas and Mike Ferraro (Nancy) of Fresno, California.; and his siblings, Joe Avila (Mary) of Fresno, California, Veronica McKelvey of Hanford, California, Mary Lou Davis (Norman) of Hanford, California, Mickey Lord (Richard) of Fresno, California and Angelina Mosher of Laton, California.. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
