He was predeceased by: his stepdaughter Porscha Blankenbecler; and his parents, Clifford Banfield and Florence Banfield. He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his son Bret; his stepson Rod Blankenbecler; and his friend Gary Folgner. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fairhaven Memorial Park & Mortuary (1702 Fairhaven Ave, Santa Ana, CA 92705). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Coach House (33157 Camino Capistrano, San Juan Capistrano, CA 92675).
