He was predeceased by: his father Frank George Wasmer; his stepmother Elvera Wasmer; his mother-in-law Shirley Jewell; his brother-in-law Brian Kerwin; and his close friend Ira White.

He is survived by: his wife Christine Wasmer; his daughter Jessica Wasmer (Robert Wilkins); his granddaughters, Adalynn and Trinity; his sisters, Patti Kerwin and Nancy La Fornara (Joe LaFornara); and his pets, Roxy, Koko, Uber and Sicky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
