She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. W. Norris Barnes and Jeanne Barnes (Gordon). She is survived by: her husband Michael Ward; her siblings, Jeanine Bickett, Clifford Barnes, Maureen Upton, Lorena Barnes and Kathy Stanley; and her close friends, Curtis and Maureen Byyny. She is also survived by extended family, cousins, nieces, nephews.
