He was predeceased by: his wife Frances; his parents, Joseph Mueller and Emma Mueller; and his sisters, Josephine Slee, Anna Poland and Emma Woodward.
He is survived by: his daughter Anna Mueller-Ellis (Scott); and his grandchildren, Ron Rollosson and Jane Wagner. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren who adored him and numerous nieces and nephews.
