He was predeceased by: his son Todd Hobbs; his parents, George Hobbs and Blanche Hobbs (Sanford); his siblings-in-law, John Kendall, David McNamara, Gary Cossa, Charlene Cossa (Main) and Susan Cossa (Feliciano); and his sibling's children, Jennifer Kirchman (McNamara) and Mario Cossa.
He is survived by: his wife Carole "Cookie" Hobbs (Cossa); his children, Wendy Powers (John) and Christopher Hobbs; his siblings, Cassie McNamara, Sally Kendall and Paul Hobbs (Jane); his brother-in-law Tony Cossa; his aunts, Joan Roza (Hobbs), Wilma Hobbs (Bill) and Evelyn Hobbs (Les); his siblings' children, Carrie Schwartz (John), Meredith Coons (Kevin), Marie Torres (Gio), Susie Allsop Cossa, Sam Kendall (Chloe), Ben Kendall (Ashley), Duskin Hobbs (Ally), Gary Cossa Jr., Louis Cossa (Stephanie), Anthony Cossa and Ron Cossa (Carol); and his stepgrandchildren, Reagan Kelly (Paul) and Riley Powers.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Santa Maria Country Club (505 W Waller Ln, Santa Maria, CA 93455).
