He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Rich (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Stacy (Steve Garberich) of Parker, Colorado, Lisa (Kurt Johnson) of Santa Clarita, California and Darin Rich (Kim) of Gig Harbor, Washington; his grandchildren, Brooke, Kirsti, Nicholas, Austin, Riley and Nathan; his great grandchildren, Beckett and Bowen; and his niece Debbie Rich of Camarillo, California..
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Jim's name to the Food Bank of Santa Barbara County or the American Cancer Society.
