He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Murphy and Nicodema Kasip. He is survived by: his children, Shaun Murphy (Francis) and Lori Ramsey; his granddaughter Calli Ramsey; and his former wife Janice Murphy.
In recent years he developed Alzheimer's and was cared for by his son Shaun and Francis.
