He was loved and cherished by many people including: wife: Betty (Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Connors); children: Anne Marie McCauley, Maggie (Joe) Pecoraro, Dan (Michelle) McCauley and Kevin (Michelle) McCauley; grandchildren: Ana (Jonathan) Tadros, Joey Pecoraro, Katie Pecoraro, Aidan McCauley, Macey McCauley, Patrick McCauley, Donovan McCauley and Walker McCauley; great-grandchild: James Tadros; parents: Charles William McCauley and Mary Maude McCauley; siblings: Maureen (Earl) Haynes, Patty (Dave) Cunningham, Ken (Georgine) McCauley and Tim (Linda) McCauley; in-laws: Ken (Ree) Flaherty, Janet (Dan) Wheeler, Dan and Alice Connors, Dan (Carol) Connors, Ree Flaherty; nephew: Andy Flaherty; and twenty-four wonderful nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary (1003 E Stowell Rd, Santa Maria, CA 93454). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Louis de Montfort Catholic Church in the Parish Hall (1190 E Clark Ave, Santa Maria, CA 93455).
