Simon Verdin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Simon Verdin of Santa Maria, California, who passed away on May 31, 2025 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginio Verdin and Josefina Verdin; his siblings, Joe, John, Joel, Ciro (Ted), Delano, Joey, Philip, Josefina Varela, Mercedes Avila and Virginia Armenta; and his granddaughter Roma Velasco.
He is survived by: his wife Lupe Verdin; and his siblings, Jess (Amy) and Judy Galvan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Mary's Church (414 E Church St, Santa Maria, CA 93454). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Santa Maria Cemetery (1501 S College Dr, Santa Maria, CA 93454).
