She was predeceased by: her husband Benjamin T. Rivera; her parents, Guadalupe Salazar and Josefa Salazar; her siblings, Manuel, David, Guadalupe Jr., Leonard, Joe, Johnny, Francisco, Estella Arellano, Irma Lamey, Alice Herrera, Ida Mariscal and Belen Whittenburg; and her grandsons, Isaiah and Issac Ramos.
She is survived by: her children, Benjamin Rivera, Michael Rivera, Veronica Rivera and Rosanna Rodriguez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 7:15 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (10800 Henderson Rd, Ventura, CA 93004). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
