He is survived by: his son Mike; his friends, Ken Cartier, Mike Ferin, Doug Lyke and Bob Meyer; his pet Vizslas; his wife Penny of Santa Rosa, CA; his son Matthew (Eileen Munroe) of Novato, CA; and his siblings-in-law, Lászlo Orlóci, Robert Smith, Richard Smith (Gail) and Margaret Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
