She was predeceased by: her father Clearlake; her husband Alvaro Tapia Sr.; and her sons, Charles (Betty), JoseLuis and Alvaro Jr. (Chuya).
She is survived by: her children, Joe Sr., Malinda, Jane (late Marvin), Wanda (Richard), Albert, Jessie (late Wayne), Larry and Angela (Will). She is also survived by twenty-two grandchildren and over twenty great-grandchildren.
