We are sad to announce that, on August 10, 2025, at the age of 95, Ephigenia George Leslie (Santa Rosa, California), born in San Francisco, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Russell K. Leslie; her parents, Chrisapho Stathes and George Stathes; her grandson Michael J. Mataragas; and her siblings, Theoni Stathes, Alexander Stathes, Mary Georgilakis, Georgia Stathes, George Stathes and Dimitra Hennessey (Thalia Picard).
She is survived by: her daughters, Galina Leslie and Victoria M. Mataragas; her son-in-law David J. Torchia; her grandsons, George E. Mataragas (Shannon M. Mataragas), Nicholas K. Giambattista-Coleman and Andrew L. Coleman; and her great grandchildren, Ryan R., Jordyn J. and Myles M. Mataragas. She is also survived by loving Nieces and Nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her memory.
