He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymundo Gardea and Carmen Gardea. He is survived by: his children, Lois Gardea, Scott James Gardea, Andrew Paul Gardea and Julia Marie Gardea; his stepdaughter Amy Kirshen (Keelan Kirshen); and his grandchildren, Kenzie Kirshen and Mackinley Kirshen.
