He was predeceased by: his parents, James M Blair, Sr. and Helen Blair; his sisters, Betty Warman, Louise Blair, June Saunders, Margie Calderman and Helen Jean Graham; his brother-in-law Robert Graham; his niece Carol Austin; and his nephew James Odell Long.
He is survived by: his significant other Debbie Butulia Blair; his daughters, Caroline Bauhaus (Mark), Christin Blair and Lisa Ireland (Stanton); and his sister Lillian Proulx. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
