It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Tiofelo Matos of Santa Rosa, California, who passed away on October 26, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albano Matos and Maria Sao Jose Matos; and his wife Mary Lucille Matos. He is survived by: his daughters, Sylvia Tucker (Stephen) and Sandy Geernaert (Richard); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephen (Megan), Heather, Abigayle, Joseph and Dominic; his great grandchildren, Lucille, Kaleb, Bennett and Sereia; and his siblings, Albano and Magarida. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
