Mary Corrigan Patricia Obituary
Mary ended her life journey peacefully at the age of 85 in Santa Rosa, California on December 12, 2025. She was born as Mary Patricia Corrigan August 8, 1940 in San Francisco CA to parents, Thomas Francis Corrigan and Emma Rita Ondich (Corrigan). She helped raise her two younger sisters at the age of 10 after her Mother passed and became an orphan at 15 when her Father passed. Mary is also pre-deceased by husbands William Phipps, Thaddeus Barnard and Richard Spiker.
Mary is survived by sons Bryan and Daryl Phipps, granddaughters Jessica Phipps and Rebecca Clark, grandson Kyle Phipps Boll, sisters Frances Taylor and Barbara Anspaugh, along with several nieces.
Mary enjoyed music and played the clarinet (first chair) in her high school band. She also received an academic scholarship but was not able to attend college. She married and moved from San Franciso to Petaluma in 1968 and later to Santa Rosa where she pursued a real estate career and co-founded a successful construction company. She ended her career journey as an architectural oversight manager in Santa Rosa.
Mary lived a full life with family, friends, business and travel. She loved music and dancing – especially dancing! She loved laughing. She was an optimist who saw the bright side in all circumstances. She was kind, considerate and thoughtful.
Mary loved her family immensely and loved her friends as well. She cherished all who traveled the journey with her. ‘Love in light’ was her motto and she had a strong belief in God and Jesus Christ. She fought the fight, ran the race and kept the faith!
Mary's Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the Iron and Vine Restaurant 3330 Yulupa Ave. Santa Rosa CA on January 3, 2026 at 2pm. Family and friends welcome.
