He was predeceased by: his parents, James Johnston and Mamie Lee Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Poplin; his daughters, Jan (Chuck), Denise (Basil), Kimberly (Doug) and Leigh (David); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Christopher, Courtney, Chelsea, Natalie, Jennifer, Greg, Alex, Jordan, Jonathan and Will; and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Brody, Calvin, Mazzlyn, Noriah, Glyde, Ava, Sailor, Addison, Leigh, Caleb, Simone, Quinn, Cameron, Arlene, Peter, Marshall and Hallie.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Daniels Chapel of the Roses Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (1225 Sonoma Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95405).
