We are sad to announce that, on January 21, 2026, Richard Lee Bacon of Santa Rosa, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid Richard farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Richard is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dianne Bacon. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Slack and Scott Bacon; his daughter-in-law Shay Bacon; his granddaughters, Madison Slack and Jordyn Fairbanks (Kyle Fairbanks); his great grandchild Nolan Scott Fairbanks; and his granddaughters, Kassidy Bacon and Lilah Bacon (Gianni Johnson).
