He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Nauert; and his son Bruce. He is survived by: his son Steve (Lori) of Elk Grove, CA. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Any donations Dick requested should go to the ALS Foundation due to his son Bruce passing from ALS.
